How we plan · N°03

Four steps from dream to return.

Planning a big trip shouldn't feel like a second job. Here's exactly how it goes when you plan with me — no pressure, no surprises.
  1. 01

    Discover

It starts with a short trip intake — where you're dreaming of, who's coming, roughly when. It takes about a minute.

  2. 02

    Design

I build a bespoke itinerary around your people and send it over — the right hotels (ones I'd send my own family to), smart routing, and the moments worth leaving open. We refine it together until it's exactly right.

  3. 03

    Reserve

Once you love the plan, I lock it in — perks and all — and put every confirmation in one tidy, easy-to-find place, so nothing slips through the cracks.

  4. 04

    Travel

I'm with you start to finish. A question on the ground, a table you wish you'd booked, a hiccup at check-in? I'm a real person, a text away, the whole trip.

What planning includes · N°04

More trip, less lifting.

  • Insider access

Fora X + Virtuoso perks — upgrades, credits, breakfast, VIP recognition — layered onto the same rooms at no extra cost.

  • One trusted advisor

The same person from the first daydream to the trip home. No call centers, no handoffs.

  • Immersive planning

Food, wine, culture, and the off-the-beaten-path moments you'll actually remember — never the tourist checklist.

  • Your time back

I handle the research, reservations, and logistics, so planning never feels like a second job.

Questions, answered.

How does working with a travel advisor actually work?
It starts with a 60-second trip intake. From there, Kristen shapes the trip with you, designs a bespoke itinerary around your people, confirms every reservation with perks attached, and stays a message away from planning through your trip home.
Do I pay more by booking through you instead of directly?
No. You book the same hotels at the same rates (and sometimes even better!) — but as a Fora X advisor with Virtuoso access, Kristen adds perks you can't get yourself: room upgrades, daily breakfast, resort credits, early check-in / late check-out, and VIP recognition, at no extra cost.
How far in advance should I start planning?
For peak-season travel, big multigenerational trips, and sought-after resorts, roughly 6–12 months out is the sweet spot — the best suites, connecting rooms, and villas book up early. Shorter timelines are often still very doable, so it's always worth asking.
